What is GetMocky?

GetMocky is an NFL mock draft competition platform where you create your own first-round mock draft and compete against friends to see who predicts the real draft most accurately.

It combines traditional mock drafting with scoring, leaderboards, and group competition to turn the NFL Draft into a game.

Is GetMocky free? Is there betting involved?

Yes — GetMocky is completely free to play.

There is no betting, no real money, and no gambling involved. It is purely a skill-based game based on predicting NFL Draft outcomes.

How does the NFL mock draft game work?

You create a full 32-pick first-round NFL mock draft. Once the real draft begins, your mock is locked and scored based on how close your picks are to the actual selections.

You earn points for each correct or near-correct prediction, and your total score determines your ranking in your group leaderboard.

How do groups and leagues work?

You can create a private group and invite friends using an invite code or link. Each group has its own leaderboard where members compete against each other.

You can also join multiple groups and submit drafts for each.

Can I include trades in my mock draft?

Yes. GetMocky allows you to simulate trades by assigning picks to different teams in your mock draft.

This lets you create more realistic and strategic mock drafts based on expected trade scenarios.

When do mock drafts lock?

All mock drafts are locked when the NFL Draft begins.

After the draft starts, you can no longer edit your picks, and scoring begins automatically as selections are announced.

How does scoring work in GetMocky?

Scoring is based on how close your predicted pick is to where a player is actually selected in the NFL Draft.

Early picks are scored more strictly, while later picks allow for more flexibility since they are harder to predict.

• Exact match = highest points
• Close predictions (1–3 picks away) still score
• Later picks can score even if slightly further off
• Players not drafted in Round 1 = 0 points

Does scoring update live during the NFL Draft?

Yes. Scores update in real time as picks are made.

You can follow along on the Live Draft page and watch your score and leaderboard position change instantly.

How do I win?

The player with the highest total score after all 32 picks are completed wins.

Leaderboards automatically rank all users in your group based on total points.

Can I create multiple mock drafts?

Yes, depending on group settings, you may be allowed to submit multiple mock drafts per group.

Each draft is scored independently.
